Job Description
Reservation Handling: Manage reservation bookings through phone, email, or reservation systems, ensuring accuracy in seating arrangements.
Waitlist Management: Monitor walk-in guests and manage the waitlist during peak times, providing guests with accurate wait times.
Customer Inquiries: Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding restaurant offerings, reservations, operating hours, and promotions.
Special Requests: Record and communicate any special guest requests (e.g., seating preferences, birthdays) to the front-of-house team.
Communication with Staff: Coordinate with the service team regarding seating availability and guest flow to ensure smooth operations.
Guest Satisfaction: Proactively engage with guests while they wait, offering updates on table availability or addressing concerns.
Front Desk Cleanliness: Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times, creating a welcoming environment for guests.
Conflict Resolution: Address guest complaints or issues with seating or wait times, escalating to management when necessary.
Reporting: Provide daily reports on guest flow, reservations, and special requests to management.
