Job Description

Responsible for developing, establishing, maintaining and controlling the general and cost accounting systems and related procedures; implementing the Company’s budgetary systems; and preparing meaningful, accurate and timely
financial, management and budgetary reports.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supervise and coordinate the implementation of the established accounting systems and policies of the Company.
2. Ensure the proper accounting treatment of business transactions, the efficient maintenance of books of accounts and the proper documentation of transactions.
3. Supervise the timely preparation and submission of accurate financial and management reports and their accompanying schedules, including the monthly reconciliation of accounts.
4. Prepare the Company’s budget, including the monthly analysis of budget variances to determine reasons for budget overrun or underrun, and submits monthly budgetary reports.
5. Prepare quarterly and annual ITR; Review and approve monthly/quarterly VAT and Withholding taxes returns
6. Approve office and warehouse payroll, accounts payments vouchers, journal vouchers and petty cash vouchers.
7. Review landed costs/product costs to ascertain accuracy and completeness of inventory costs.
8. Review branch financial reports, i.e., financial statements, product costing, cash receipts, disbursements, receivables and bank reconciliations and prepares monthly report on the results thereof.
9. Attend to examination of books of accounts and other reports in connection with the external auditor and as required by government agencies.
10.Recommend, develop and maintain accounting data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
11. Safeguard the integrity of confidential reports.
12. Responsible for work performance, training and development of personnel under his supervision.
13. Perform other functions that may be assigned by the Management.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• With at least 2-5 years professional experience in general accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Has knowledge in SAP is a plus
• Willing to work in Makati
• Preferably from the same industry (Trading)
• Can start ASAP

SALARY RANGE: PHP 30k-45k
