Job Description
Recording Financial Transactions
Maintain general ledger entries.
Assist in posting journal entries.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process invoices, receipts, and payments.
Help reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding balances.
Bank Reconciliation
Reconcile bank statements with internal records to ensure accuracy.
Assist with Month-End and Year-End Closing
Support in preparing financial reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure proper documentation for audits.
Data Entry and File Management
Accurately input financial data into accounting systems.
Maintain organized financial records and documents.
Support Audits
Help gather documents and respond to auditor requests.
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Communication skills for working with vendors and other departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Internships or experience in bookkeeping/accounting (preferred but not always required).
