Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Italian Chef to join our team at Iconique Mall Colon' in Cebu City, Cebu. As our Italian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing exceptional Italian cuisine that delights our customers. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you'll be doing
•Developing and preparing authentic Italian dishes using the freshest ingredients
•Managing and supervising the kitchen staff to ensure consistent high-quality food production
•Collaborating with the management team to create innovative seasonal menus
•Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
•Monitoring inventory and placing orders for supplies as needed
•Providing training and mentorship to junior chefs and kitchen staff
•Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment in the kitchen
What we're looking for
•Minimum 5 years of experience as an Italian Chef in a similar high-volume, fast-paced environment
•Formal culinary education or training, with a focus on Italian cuisine
•Excellent knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, flavors, and presentation
•Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
•Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
•Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
•Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences for our customers
•Willing to be relocated in Hong Kong once to be promoted
