Job Description

The Account Specialist is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and penetrating untapped markets to drive business growth and expansion. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to market research, customer engagement, and relationship building. The Account Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute market penetration strategies, establish a foothold in new territories, and drive revenue generation.

Duties:

· Conduct market research to identify untapped opportunities, including emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and customer segments.

· In coordination with the Head of Food Service (HOFS), be able to develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets, including market entry strategies, sales tactics, and partnership opportunities.

· Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, industry influencers, and strategic partners.

· Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to tailor products/services and messaging to target markets.

· Lead sales efforts in new territories, including prospecting, lead generation, and negotiation to achieve sales targets.

· Monitor market performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and strategy refinement.

· Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and challenges.

· Continuously optimize market penetration strategies based on feedback, market dynamics, and performance metrics.

· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand business reach.

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of market expansion initiatives and alignment with overall business objectives.
