Kitchen Helper (Private Club)

Job Qualifications:
•⁠ 1 year experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
•⁠ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
•⁠ Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
•⁠ Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
•⁠ Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:
•⁠ ⁠Assist chef in preparing cooking ingredients. Assists in basic food preparation / appetizers, such as making simple salads or garnishes. Prepare ingredients by measuring, mixing, and cutting as directed by the chef.
•⁠ ⁠⁠Help in food plating and ensure dishes are presented neatly.
•⁠ ⁠⁠Fetch ingredients or tools for chefs to streamline cooking processes. Adhering to Safety and Hygiene Standards
•⁠ ⁠⁠Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils before and after use.
•⁠ ⁠⁠Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items to maintain freshness and prevent cross-contamination.
•⁠ ⁠⁠Cleaning and dishwashing kitchen wares, dining wares, utensils, maintain a clean and safe work environment in the kitchen.
•⁠ ⁠⁠Ensure all dishware and kitchen tools are spotless and ready for use.
•⁠ ⁠⁠Assist in unloading and organizing deliveries, ensuring items are stored correctly.
•⁠ ⁠⁠Keep an inventory of kitchen supplies and report shortages to the manager.
•⁠ ⁠⁠Perform any additional tasks as needed to support the chef/ kitchen staff.
