Job Description
Location: Lonely Owl Premier Café, Quezon City
Reports To: Kitchen Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Staff to assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the kitchen team in delivering excellent service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for food.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients, cooking, and assembling dishes according to the café’s recipes and standards.
Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, complies with health and safety regulations. This includes dishwashing, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.
Inventory Assistance: Help with inventory management by stocking ingredients, monitoring supplies, and informing supervisors when items are low.
Assisting Chef: Support chef and supervisor in cooking, plating, and serving during busy hours.
Waste Management: Minimize food waste by following proper portion control and store techniques.
Compliance: Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines as per health regulations.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen supervisor and/or chef.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
