Job Description
• Bachelor's degree holder in Accounting
• Must be a CPA
• Minimum 7-8 years progressive experience in accounting, finance, and tax.
• With at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role managing at least 6 staff.
• With experience in transfer pricing or handling cross-border tax issues, and handling BIR audits
• Strong Knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High Levels of integrity and attention to detail
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office Applications
Duties:
• Manage and supervise daily accounting operations, month end and year end closing procedures.
• Monitor cash flow and oversee financial forecasting and budgeting process
• Ensure compliance and with tax laws and review tax fillings ( VAT, income ta, FBT withholding taxex etc.)
• Liase with external auditors, consultants and regulatory agencies as needed
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
• Stay updated with changes in tax regulations, accounting standard and financial reporting requirements.
• Lead system implementations, upgrades, or improvements to enhance operational and reporting efficiency.
• Mentor, and develop accounting staff to maintain a high- performing team.
