Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s technology infrastructure. This includes providing technical support to staff, managing IT systems and hardware, and ensuring a secure and efficient IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, including LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi.

Administer user accounts, email systems, and access permissions.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and patch management.

Ensure data security through antivirus software, firewalls, and adherence to IT policies.

Document technical procedures, system configurations, and user guides.

Assist in the procurement, inventory, and setup of IT hardware and software.

Support new IT projects, software deployments, and infrastructure upgrades.

Educate users on IT best practices and support basic training on technology tools.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

2+ years of proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments, Microsoft Office, and networking fundamentals.

Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and helpdesk systems.

Solid understanding of IT security practices and data protection principles.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Exposure to scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
