Job Description
Work Setup: Hybrid
Schedule: Shifting schedule every week (morning, mid, and night shift)
osition Summary
The role is responsible for leading and enhancing the network architecture, ensuring robust performance, and aligning technical solutions with business needs. This includes managing projects, evaluating new products, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Periodically review and enhance network architecture and plan future improvements.
Evaluate and select new network products and services.
Lead technical projects: planning, scheduling, vendor coordination, training, hardware/software acquisition, and team oversight.
Develop best practice architecture models based on industry trends.
Ensure architectural solutions meet business and performance requirements.
Administer and update complex firewall (FW) and intrusion prevention system (IPS) rule bases.
Document systems, policies, and procedures; conduct annual reviews.
Support product lifecycle management, patching, and vendor coordination.
Collaborate with regional operations teams for active network monitoring and rapid issue resolution.
Manage vendor relationships for procurement and maintenance.
Conduct system log audits; resolve or escalate issues.
Coordinate with security teams on incidents.
Provide 2nd-level support for firewall and IPS incidents.
Lead disaster recovery efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in IT, Computer Engineering, or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
10+ years of relevant experience.
Required: CCNA certification; Preferred: CCNP (training/exam optional).
Required: Azure AZ-900 or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
Experience with cloud computing and technology trends.
Project management experience.
Willingness to be on-call outside of work hours.
Key Competencies
Technical: Strong knowledge of IP networking, routing, switching, firewalls (especially Fortigate), VPNs, IPS (preferably Cisco), and areas such as WAN optimization, Linux, and DMZs.
