Job Description
The Philippine Football Federation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Communications Manager to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a part-time position that will play a crucial role in enhancing our public relations and corporate affairs efforts. As Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans to increase the visibility and reputation of the organisation.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage key stakeholders, including the media, sponsors, and the general public
Managing the organisation's social media channels and website to ensure timely and accurate information sharing
Drafting and distributing press releases, statements, and other communications materials
Coordinating media interviews and events to promote the organisation's initiatives and achievements
Monitoring media coverage and reputation, and providing recommendations for improvement
Collaborating with the marketing and events teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding
Providing guidance and support to the wider team on communication-related matters
What we're looking for
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably within the sports or non-profit industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino
Strong media relations and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with the media
Proficient in using social media platforms and content management systems
Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication campaigns
Familiarity with the Philippine football landscape and an understanding of the sport's stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational and time management skills
