Job Description

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting functions. Retail industry experience is highly preferred.

Skills:

-Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly in accounts payable.
-Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems).
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to resolving discrepancies.
Other Requirements:
-Must be willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig.
-Willing to accept a salary of Php 22,000++ based on experience and qualifications.
-Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
-Retail industry experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
-Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

-Process and verify vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
-Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments.
-Maintain an organized filing system for invoices, payment requests, and supporting documentation.
-Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure payments are made within vendor terms.
-Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports for management review.
-Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
-Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and support.
-Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment issues or inquiries.
-Review and manage vendor contracts and payment terms, ensuring compliance with company policies.
-Perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned by management.
