Job Description

As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting department by handling day-to-day financial tasks. This includes maintaining financial records, processing invoices, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions. You will work closely with the senior accounting team to help maintain smooth and efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and updating financial records and ledgers.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Prepare and review invoices for payments and ensure timely processing.
• Support in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Handle bank reconciliations and assist in month-end closing processes.
• Assist with general bookkeeping tasks and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoicing and payment queries.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Support senior accountants with various financial tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.

Starting Offer:
