Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Sales Specialist to lead and manage sales initiatives for Outdoor power equipment, including grass trimmers, lawnmowers, and landscaping equipment. This role involves strategic planning, market penetration, and building long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate will bring advanced technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the outdoor power tools industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sales and Business Development:
2. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
3. Identify key market opportunities and secure high-value contracts with landscaping companies, facility maintenance providers, and dealers.
4. Lead market penetration efforts in underserved regions and niche markets.
5. Product and Technical Expertise:
6. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of outdoor tools, including grass trimmers, lawnmowers, chainsaws, and leaf blowers, highlighting their features, applications, and competitive advantages.
7. Conduct advanced, hands-on product demonstrations and training for clients and dealer networks.
8. Stay updated on the latest technologies, safety features, and sustainable practices in outdoor equipment.
9. Customer Relationship Management and Leadership:
10. Build and nurture high-level relationships with key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
11. Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
12. Mentor and support junior sales staff by sharing expertise, providing training, and guiding them in achieving their goals.
13. Market Analysis and Innovation:
14. Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
15. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to refine offerings and develop targeted campaigns.
16. Propose innovative solutions tailored to customer needs, focusing on energy-efficient and eco-friendly outdoor tools.
17. Operational and Administrative Excellence:
18. Ensure accurate sales reporting, contract management, and proper follow-up for all key accounts.
19. Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
20. Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience:
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
3. 5–10 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in outdoor or landscaping equipment, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior sales role.
Skills and Expertise:
4. Extensive knowledge of outdoor power tools and their applications in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
5. Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
6. Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence high-level stakeholders.
7. Expertise in handling CRM systems, market analysis tools, and sales forecasting.
