Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Sales Specialist to drive sales of industrial power tools to customers in manufacturing, shipbuilding, fabrication, metalworking, and related sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industrial applications, technical expertise in power tools, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while achieving revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sales Leadership:
o Develop and execute a robust sales strategy for power tools in industrial sectors, targeting manufacturing plants, shipyards, fabrication shops, and metalworking businesses.
o Identify, assess, and capitalize on opportunities to grow the market share.
o Work closely with dealers, distributors, and end-users to build a sustainable sales pipeline.
2. Technical Expertise and Customer Support:
o Provide expert advice and consultative solutions to clients, ensuring they select the most suitable tools for their needs.
o Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of industrial-grade power tools, such as grinders, drills, saws, impact wrenches, and specialized tools for metalworking and shipbuilding.
o Conduct on-site product demonstrations and offer training sessions to customers and their teams.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
o Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including procurement officers, engineers, and plant managers.
o Act as the primary point of contact for high-priority accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and ongoing customer satisfaction.
o Monitor customer needs and feedback to anticipate future requirements and propose new solutions.
4. Market Analysis and Growth:
o Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry advancements in power tools and industrial applications.
o Collaborate with the product team to suggest enhancements or new product offerings based on customer insights.
o Explore opportunities in emerging industries or geographic regions within the industrial sector.
5. Team Collaboration and Mentorship:
o Support and mentor junior sales team members by sharing knowledge, strategies, and industry expertise.
o Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and logistics, to deliver seamless customer experiences.
o Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events, showcasing products and building professional networks.
6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
o Track and analyze sales performance, preparing detailed reports and presenting them to senior management.
o Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience:
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
o Minimum of 5–10 years of proven sales experience in power tools or industrial equipment, with at least 2 years in a senior sales role.
2. Skills and Expertise:
o In-depth technical knowledge of industrial power tools and their applications in manufacturing, shipbuilding, and metalworking industries.
o Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
o Proficiency in CRM software, sales forecasting, and reporting tools.
