Job Description

1.Scheduling: Ensuring that the restaurant is properly staffed at all times and that employees are scheduled efficiently.
2.Performance management: Monitoring employee performance, providing feedback, and conducting regular evaluations.
3.Customer satisfaction- Ensuring that customers have a positive dining experience by overseeing service quality and addressing complaints or concerns.
4.Managing reservations - Coordinating and managing customer bookings, especially during peak hours.
5.Guest interaction- Sometimes engaging with customers directly to make sure they are happy with their meals and service.
6.Budgeting and cost control- Creating and maintaining the restaurant's budget, ensuring expenses stay within limits, and managing costs like food and labor.
7.Inventory control - Keeping track of supplies and inventory, including ordering food and beverage stock, and ensuring the restaurant doesn’t run out of key items.
8.Cash management: - Overseeing cash flow, handling tills, and ensuring proper financial reporting.
9.Managing restaurant cleanliness - Ensuring both front-of-house and kitchen areas are clean and well-maintained.
10.Facility maintenance- Ensuring equipment and facilities are functioning properly and arranging repairs as needed.
