Qualifications

-Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related course, preferably Accountancy.
-Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

-Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

Job Summary:
As an Accounting Assistant, you will support the Accounting Supervisor and General Manager by handling key tasks, including inventory monitoring, accounts receivable management, and report preparation. This role provides a great opportunity to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience in the accounting field.

Key Responsibilities:
* Petty Cash Fund (PCF)
-Maintain custody of PCF and ensure sufficient funds.
-Prepare accurate PCF disbursement reports and notify the Accounting Head for replenishment.

* Inventory Management
-Monitor inventory levels, including office supplies and warehouse stock.
-Ensure accurate and updated daily records that align with inventory reports from warehouses.

*Sales Order Management
-Create sales orders based on customer purchase orders.
-Ensure inventory requirements are logged and notify the Accounting Head for delivery approval.

*Accounts Receivable Monitoring
-Track outstanding balances and maintain an Accounts Receivable file, including aging reports, payment histories, and methods.
-Organize and safeguard Sales Invoices, Collection Receipts, and Deposit Slips chronologically.

*Client Profile Management
-Maintain detailed client profiles, including warranties, calibration certificates, preventive maintenance schedules, and proposal statuses.

*Support for Servicing Team
-Monitor service-related receipts in collaboration with the servicing team.
-Refer to proposals for calibration and preventive maintenance purposes.

*Technician Service Reports
-Track and compile service reports and prepare quarterly calibration certificates.

Additional Responsibilities:
-Act as a petty cash custodian, ensuring proper replenishments and complete documentation.
-Assist with any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by the management or immediate supervisor.
