Job Description
Location: Parañaque City
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8 AM - 5 PM), Saturday (8 AM - 3 PM)
Job Summary/Objective:
Responsible for supporting the accounting department in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Assisting with the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. Daily accounting tasks, keeping track and recording all transactions within a company, and updating expense files. Maintaining a healthy financial profile and ensuring mandated compliance with the rules and regulations.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Financial Transactions:
- Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, liquidations, and other receipts-related works.
2. Financial Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintaining financial reports, and records, and updating general ledger accounts.
- Responsible for all files being kept in a systematic way for easy access and reference by the Management.
- Responding to information requests and assisting with audits.
3. Reconciliation:
- Assist in reconciling discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
4. Payroll Support:
- Assist in processing payroll (monthly, bi-monthly, and weekly for office and site), and ensuring accurate and timely salary payments.
- Maintain payroll records and handles payroll-related inquiries.
5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and Report on budget variances.
6. Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to higher directors.
- Develop & maintain a filing system for the relevant documents.
- Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
- Responsible for the preparation of client’s accreditation requirements and
documentation.
- Run errands such as bill payments and related bank transactions as needed.
- Assist with other tasks that Management may assign as needed.
Skills/Attributes Required:
- PC literacy and experience with MS Office Suite including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Accounting Software)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- At least 1 year of accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payables/receivable principles.
NOTE: ALL POSITIONS ARE FOR DIRECT HIRE AND NOT UNDER AGENCY
