Job Description

The Purchasing clerk is responsible for purchasing raw materials, products and supplies for an organization under the direct supervision of a purchasing manager or Asst. Controller. Responsibilities vary based on the size and type of products an organization uses or produces. Also referred to as purchasing agent or analyst, this professional works to ensure the highest quality and best prices for the materials he/she purchases.
