JOB SUMMARY

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior executive in the organization responsible for managing company's financial action, strategic planning, policy development, and monitoring its overall performance towards business viability. The CFO must be actively engaged in financial planning, investor relations and accounting. The CFO oversees the organization's Finance and Accounting team members' productivity and above par performances.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Preferably with F&B Industry
Certified Chartered Financial (CFA) is a must
Certified Internal Auditor or with with strong auditing experience from reputable firms
Must be graduate of either UP, DLSU, ADMU or UST
Familiarity with the accounting and finance software tools that their direct reports use [exposure and experience in ERP)
Handled 20 or more direct reports/ subordinates (Excellent People Management)
SPECIFIC ROLES & DUTIES

Lead and mentor a high - performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
Efficiently execute company budgets, manage payment procedures, and prioritize fund safety
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Maintain precise ledger entries and generate various internal and external financial reports
Oversee tax computations, filings, and payments, ensuring timely submissions
Innovate and refine accounting and financial processes, guaranteeing the accuracy of all financial statements
Collaborate closely with big 4 CPA firm on legal compliance and regulatory matters
Drive credit management initiatives and foster relationships with credit insurance entities
Spearhead budget management efforts, ensuring alignment with company objectives
Oversee strategic cash flow planning, anticipating future financial needs
Design and implement robust financial systems in line with industry best practices
Directly report financial metrics and insights to board of directors and investors
Maintain and nurture relationships with external financial partners, including banks and regulatory authorities
Handle additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by the board of directors and investors
WORK EXPERIENCES

Proven experience as a CFO, financial controller, or related leadership role
Demonstrable experience in a senior finance role, showcasing leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution
Adept at managing and leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and growth
Strong financial and business acumen with the capability of driving company-wide financial strategies
Exceptional communications skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels
With F&B exposure and experience
Unwavering integrity and ethical standards
Adaptability, able to navigate the dynamic landscape of financial management and regulations
Develop financial strategies and plans in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives
Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure financial stability and growth
Oversee financial reporting and accounting activities including financial statements and tax preparations
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company’s liquidity
Develop and implement financial risk management strategies
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, and liaise with auditors and external stakeholders as necessary
Work closely with other department heads to help them understand the financial implications of their decisions
Exposed to global shared services and work collaborations with territories
