Job Description

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar related courses
- A year of experience with treasury function with good working knowledge of the accounting aspect is preferred.
- Displays strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Demonstrates sound understanding of Economics and Financial Markets
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply

Job Description
Portfolio Management
- Researches and analyzes financial markets using proprietary and external resources to make appropriate portfolio management recommendations for schools under IM's management
- Identifies, analyzes, selects and negotiates with accredited financial situations on the most favorable terms and conditions (including computations on the projected bond yields and return expectations) that will meet the schools' objectives, risk tolerance and investment guidelines; prepare recommendation to IC
- Coordinates and prepares reports for schools assigned including presentations to the BOT, if required, reviews and analyzes the investment reports of schools assigned; assesses and evaluates the credit risk, evaluates performance against benchmark and compliance to investment guidelines
- Visits counterparts of schools assigned for client education and servicing if required
- Works together with the fund manager's research team to identify investment opportunities
- Communicate with clients about their accounts

External Fund Manager Management
-Negotiates with counterparties and provides recommendations on assets and long-term investments taking into consideration optimum investment returns and adherence to existing policies, controls and future fund requirements
- Initiates consultations with external fund managers on markets and new investment opportunities to present to the Investment Committee
- Ensures effective implementation of investment strategies based on the approved investment guidelines
- Maintains a harmonious relationship with the fund managers and ensures that the performance is reviewed periodically
- All other tasks assigned related to the review of assets and/or fund managers

Administrative
- Handles the set-up and preparation of investment agreements and investment guidelines between Member-Schools and accredited external fund managers
- Handles the coordination with accredited financial institutions, external fund managers, and government agencies/regulatory bodies on Member-Schools' investments and ensures that all documentary and legal requirements are submitted and complied with the Member-Schools
