Job Description

The Channel Development Manager – Public (CDM-Pub) is primarily responsible for driving business growth specifically in the Government Sector through identifying new sales channel opportunities. He/She works on prospecting and lead development, outreach, and presentations to prospects, closing new business and uncovering new opportunities to grow the business.

The CDM-Pubseeks out the main contact for purchasing in each government units and establishes the sales lead for each. He/She engages with Agency Directors, City Mayors, City Engineers, City Treasurers, Procurement Head and other relevant decision-makers and stakeholders in the Public Sector. He/She negotiates and prepares sales contracts and close new business deals with clients.

He/She manages relationship with partners to ensure success and satisfaction, coordinate teams to follow up on customer experience, partnership results and target achievement, plan and implement cross-selling strategies.

He/She handles the direct selling of Corporate Group’s Support Services offerings to clients.

With his/her strategic thinking, persuasive skills, and relentless pursuit of new business opportunities, the CDM-Pub plays a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth for our clients and our business.
Research and Analysis

Product Presentation and Contract Preparation

Customer Relationship Management

Reporting and Documentation 1. Conduct market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and market trends.
2. Stay up to date with industry developments, including emerging technologies and data-related solutions.
3. Analyze market feedback and client requirements to refine data offerings and propose new product enhancements.
4. Provide insights and recommendations to the data provider based on client feedback and market demands.
5. Develops the database for the Customer Base Universe for Existing Government Agencies and Local Government Units.
6. Identifies the new Public Sector channels for penetration and growth for the company product offerings.

1. Develops marketing and sales material to be used across various platforms to promote our business.
2. Writes business proposals and develops sales pitches for the relevant decision makes and stakeholders.
3. Prepares and negotiates contracts, and close new business deals with partners.

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with Government Agencies and Local Government Units through continuous engagements with Agency Directors, City Mayors, City Engineers, City Treasurers, Procurement Head, and other major stakeholders, serving as their main point of contact.
2. Understand clients' specific needs, challenges, and goals related to data utilization.
3. Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely data delivery and resolve client-related issues.

2. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
3. Provide feedback and suggestions to the management team for continuous improvement in sales strategies and processes.
Minimum Qualification Standards • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, management, or any business – related course
• At least 12 years of relevant work experience, min. of 5 year managerial experience. Must have experience in Sales for Business to Government (B2G).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
