Job Description
1. Preparation and submission of Company Financial reports such as Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Schedules to support the Financial Reports.
2. Preparation of submission of project costing such as profit and loss statement and schedules to support it.
3. Oversees the functions and performance of Accounting Department personnel such as Accounts Payable Staff, Accounts Receivables Staff and Payroll Staff.
4. Checks and approves the accounts payable voucher before it is submitted for payment.
5. Reviews and checks report of accounting staffs before submission to management.
6. Preparation of the BIR reports such as Monthly and Quarterly VAT, Submission of VAT Relief Report online to support the VAR Returns filed, Monthly and Quarterly Expended Withholding Tax on Compensation and preparation and submission of ITR.
7. Preparation and updating the lapsing schedule of assets.
8. Preparation of reports/schedules as may be required by BIR examiners in relation to BIR examination.
9. Preparation of schedules as may be required upon renewal of permits such as Municipal Business Permit, BIR Registration and PCAB Registration.
10.Verifies and reviews all other transactions pertaining to accounting department functions and responsibilities.
11.Recommends and assigns work/functions to Accounting Staff when necessary.
12.Evaluates the performance of accounting staff.
13.Recommends measures that may be necessary to improve the performance of the Department/Team.
14. All other functions as may be assigned by the Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any business related course.
2. Minimum of 5 to10 years of related experience.
3. A background of working in the construction industry is an advantage.
4. Computer literate, must have a knowledge in using Quickbook.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Keen to details.
8. Flexible and can easily adapt to a fast-paced environment.
9. Time management skills.
