Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
Change & Release Planning
Own and maintain an integrated forward schedule of change (FSC) and release calendar across key enterprise systems, including ERP.
Coordinate with technical and business teams to assess change impact, dependencies, and required approvals.
Define clear entry and exit criteria for releases, and ensure every change follows an established process from initiation to closure.
Identify risks and ensure rollback plans are in place for each deployment.
Release Execution
Coordinate release activities across environments to ensure readiness and minimize downtime.
Monitor release rollouts and serve as the primary point of contact during go-live.
Track release versions, change records, and ensure supporting documentation is current and accurate.
Post-Implementation
Facilitate post-implementation reviews and change evaluations to assess outcomes and improvement areas.
Collaborate with incident and support teams to address any issues linked to new changes or releases.
Capture lessons learned and integrate them into future cycles.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain transparent communication around change schedules, release scope, and potential risks.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels to manage expectations and provide updates.
Report regularly to leadership on change metrics, upcoming releases, and any potential delays or conflicts.
Process Governance & ITIL Alignment
Champion best practices in change and release management aligned with ITIL v4.
Continuously improve workflows, approval gates, and deployment practices based on feedback and operational insight.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and maintain documentation in line with ITSM standards.
What You Should Bring
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
7–10 years of experience in IT change and/or release management
ITIL v4 certification (Foundation or higher) highly preferred
Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics)
Proficiency in change/release tools like ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Freshservice
Solid grasp of systems architecture and how changes impact cross-functional components
Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with a strong sense of accountability
