Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor / Sr. Supervisor, the Paralegal Officer will be responsible for providing legal work and PEO compliance tasks.
II. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage the application, renewal, and compliance of PEO licenses across multiple U.S. states.
2. Responsible for verifying active licenses of the new worksite locations.
3. Responsible for timely reporting of new and term worksites to various state agencies.
4. Monitor changes in laws, state reporting requirements and update the process accordingly.
5. Responsible for communicating professionally with IRS, over 30 state licensing agencies, and the Dept of Labor in US.
6. Responsible for researching and generating monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual licenses and
reports.
7. Responsible for organizing and filing client information, reports, and documents.
8. Perform other duties as required by the PEO and REI
9. Biannual reviews of state specific licensing regulations for all PEO entities.
10. Performs other tasks related to project specifications.
11.Adheres to the channel’s standard operating procedures and work instructions.
12.Attends project orientation, job-related training, and/or other company-initiated training
when necessary.
13.Reports on all issues encountered with client-supplied applications to immediate superior.

15.Ensure compliance with company rules and regulations, which shall include but are not
limited to the Employee Code of Discipline, the policies on Quality Management System
(QMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS), Environment Health & Safety
(EHS), and Environmental Management System (EMS); Data Privacy Act (DPA); and other
duties and responsibilities prescribed for all employees.
16.Ensure compliance with all Non-Conformity Corrective Action Preventive Action
Concessions (NCAPACs) and all other audit findings within the prescribed period.
17.Reports security incidents and/or any identified security weaknesses.
18.Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education ▪ Bachelor’s degree in legal management, Business Administration, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, Mass Communication or Journalism or related field.
At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Paralegal or similar role.
Exposure and experience in customer service, legal services or position with extensive client case engagement.
Possesses excellent analytical and comprehension skills.
Excellent in oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service skills.
Possesses strong leadership ability.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Can work well under pressure.
