Job Description

The Paralegal will assist attorneys by providing a broad range of legal support services. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Legal Officer will be responsible for conducting contract review, legal research, documentation, preparing legal documents, maintaining case files, and assisting in trial preparation.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal studies, Law, or a related field. A Paralegal Certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Knowledge of Legal Systems:
1. The candidate must have a solid understanding of the Philippine Legal System.
2. The candidate must also be familiar with legal documentation, legal writing, and courtroom procedures.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Ethical Standards: Must adhere to strict confidentiality and ethical standards when dealing with client information and legal matters.
- Familiarity with Legal Environment: The candidate must be updated with the latest legal reforms and trends in the country.
- Proficiency in word processing software and use of legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
