Software Project Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
Develop project plans and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders.
Initiate and Monitor Change Requests.
Monitor and track project progress, adjusting as necessary to meet changing requirements.
Work closely with project manager, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
Ensure that all engineering activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safety
and quality standards.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates for management and stakeholders.
Support the procurement process by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals
Assits in troubleshooting engineering issues and providing solutions to technical challenges.
Ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
Communicate project status, issues, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.
Liaise with clients, vendors, and other external parties to ensure project requirements are met.
Contribute to developing relevant working procedures, templates, and standards;
Keep abreast of new engineering methods, technologies, and trends.
Other related tasks assigned from time to time.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or equivalent engineering degree;
Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 1-2 years in project
management or a lead role.
Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems & AutoCAD (2D/3D);
Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
Demonstrated capability in both the technical and management scope;

Ability to travel;
Demonstrated ability to interact well with peers and across all levels of the organization;
Experience in implementing automation/electrical solutions and writing software code;
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
Proven leadership and motivation skills;
Willing to work on flexible time.
