Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Facilitates payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling sales invoices.
2. Reconciles and verifies journal entries and comparing system reports to account balances.
3. Analyzing sales invoices and expense reports and records expenses to corresponding accounts and cost centers.
4. Pays suppliers by preparing and scheduling of checks and reconciles discrepancies from supporting documents.
5. Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
6. Issues stop payments requests or purchase order amendments to concerned institutions.
7. Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances.
8. Verifies and encodes account transactions in the accounting ledger.
9. Verifies supplier accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
10. Maintains historical records by microfilming and filing documents.
11. Disburses petty cash by recording journal entries and verifying supporting documents.
12. Calculates tax computation on paid invoices for sales transactions.
Qualifications:
⦁ Graduate of BS Business Commerce-Accounting/BS Accountancy or its equivalent
⦁ Must have at least two (2) years work experience form retail companies and related industries.
⦁ Technology savvy, must be proficient in using accounting software.
⦁ With good oral and written communication skills
⦁ Numerate, must be analytical and with good problem-solving skills
⦁ Can think logically and pay keen attention to details
⦁ Must be a team-player and with good interpersonal skills
