• Implementation and fulfillment of all regulatory, health and safety requirements
• Implementation and fulfillment of all company policies and procedures, including those outlined in our Employee Handbook

This position is responsible for the review of employees' payroll generated by an outsourced party and the timely crediting of payroll to employees' accounts. It ensures the correctness of net pay, taxes, deductions, and social contributions. You will also record payroll entries and ensure proper remittances of socials and taxes to government agencies.

The main responsibilities of a PAYROLL SERVICES SPECIALIST include:
• Receive payroll instructions and adjusted timesheets from P&C
• Review payroll instructions on loan deductions and refunds, AR-Health deductions, Ideal Vision, mobile excess usage, unliquidated cash advances, and social contributions
• Prepare journal entries for actual payroll, social contributions, accruals & reversal of payroll (e.g. bonuses, fringe benefits, and salaries for resigned or unpaid payroll)
• Send payroll instructions to the outsourced service provider and act as the point person for any inquiries
• Receive and review the payroll register from the outsourced service provider and submit it to the Supervisor
• Prepare payroll journal entries and submit them to the Supervisor for review & approval
• Upload approved journal entries in SAP
• Load payroll payments in the online banking system and coordinate with bank signatories for authorization
• Resolve payroll issues with P&C personnel and address employees' inquiries about payroll calculations, deductions, or payslip concerns
• Communicate payroll availability to all employees
• Review the payroll calendar before the new year
• Prepare the schedule of monthly remittances for withholding tax & social contributions
• Submit withholding tax schedules to the General Accounting team for payment and BIR form preparation (at least 3 days before the BIR deadline)
• Submit the annual employee alphalist and substitute filing schedule to the BIR
• Review tax annualization, alphalist, and employee 2316 forms
• Approve social contributions in eGov Administrative
• Perform other duties that may be assigned and trained for, based on skills and experience
• Adhere to the Code of Business Conduct and all subscribed standards

• BS Accountancy graduate
• With at least 2–3 years of experience in the field of Financial and General Accounting
• Proven experience as a payroll specialist or payroll officer
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
• Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations in the field
• Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable in relevant software and databases
• Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
• Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
• Average to good communication skills
Salary:
₱40,000.00 Monthly
