Job Description

We are looking for a Group Commercial Head to lead and oversee the overall commercial strategy and performance of our organization across all business units. This key leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing profitability, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring efficient and effective commercial operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and proven leadership capabilities to align commercial initiatives with the company’s long-term goals and vision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement the group-wide commercial strategy in line with the overall business goals.
2. Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats.
3. Drive top-line growth through pricing strategy, sales initiatives, and margin improvement.
4. Set commercial targets and KPIs for business units and monitor performance.
5. Lead major contract negotiations, partnerships, and key account management.
6. Oversee sales and business development teams to ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
7. Work closely with operations, finance, marketing, and supply chain to ensure integrated commercial planning.
8. Provide commercial input in product/service development and expansion plans.
9. Monitor budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance metrics.
10. Ensure cost-effective practices and manage commercial risks.
11. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial team across various business units.
12. Establish a performance-driven culture with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive experience in commercial leadership roles, preferably in multi-sector or group-level organizations.
3. Strong experience in contract negotiation, pricing, and P&L management.
4. Proven track record in driving commercial growth and leading cross-functional teams.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
6. Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
