Job Description
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) who is proficient in Japanese to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of work-related experience in a Japanese-speaking environment. This role is open to both native Japanese speakers as well as those with N1/N2 proficiency in Japanese, and we encourage both native and non-native speakers to apply.
As a CSR, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Japanese-speaking clients, ensuring that all inquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality customer support to Japanese-speaking clients via phone, email, or chat.
Respond to inquiries, process orders, resolve issues, and address any concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Handle customer complaints or issues with patience, understanding, and empathy.
Communicate effectively in both Japanese and English (or your native language) to ensure smooth interaction with customers and internal teams.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions.
Work collaboratively with the team to improve customer service processes and enhance the customer experience.
Follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures for handling customer requests.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of work-related experience in a Japanese-speaking environment (customer service, BPO, or similar).
Native Japanese speakers OR individuals with N1/N2 proficiency in the Japanese language.
Fluent in both Japanese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
Preferred Skills:
Previous customer service or contact center experience.
Familiarity with CRM or customer service tools.
Knowledge of Japanese business etiquette and culture.
