Accounts Payable Accountant

Position Title: Junior Accountant (Accounts Payable & Payroll)
Monthly Salary: ₱20,000 – ₱25,000
Work Schedule: 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM (to align with U.S. work hours)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role focuses on accounts payable, payroll processing, and general accounting support across multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and capable of managing a fast-paced workload with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Perform basic accounting tasks, including invoice booking and vendor reconciliation.
Book supplier invoices using the AP system and maintain client invoice approval lists.
Export and analyze data from the AP system and generate accounts payable aging reports.
Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accurate financial records.
Process client payroll using various third-party payroll platforms.
Generate payroll reports and perform payroll reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist lower-level accountants and participate in department goal-setting and special projects.
Provide support across several client accounts daily.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field (CPA not required).
1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with exposure to payroll processing.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a U.S.-aligned shift.
