Job Description
Process daily transactions in our cloud-based accounting systemProcess daily transactions in our cloud-based accounting system
Manage Accounts Payable including but not limited to preparing and processing vendor payments
Manage Accounts Receivable including but not limited to generating of sales invoices and processing collection and billing adjustments.
Support bank reconciliation.
Process and track issued cash advances and monitor liquidations and reimbursements.
Manage petty cash fund and replenishment.
Assist in accounting and analysis of inventory.
Post monthly journals, recurring, accrual, and payroll entries.
Assist in maintaining general ledger including account reconciliation and resolving of discrepancies.
Contribute and participate in the month-end closing and assist in completion of Management Report.
Help ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist with tax compliance when needed.
Prepare ad-hoc tasks/reports as needed.
Report directly to the Senior Accountant.
Qualifications:
Graduate of BS Accountancy, BS Management Accounting, or any finance/accounting-related courses.
At least 2 years of related accounting work experience.
Exposure to Manufacturing set-up and inventory accounting are advantages but not required.
Fast learner and willing to be trained in using Quickbooks Online.
Applicants must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati
Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team.
Proficiency in MS Office tools especially MS Excel and Google Sheet
Basic knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and tax regulations.
Experience in Quickbooks Online or other similar accounting systems.
Willing to work Onsite in Makati City
