About the role

SYC Philippine Corporation is seeking an experienced Welder to join our dynamic team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of various metal structures and components. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a leading company in the Trades & Services industry.

What you'll be doing

· Perform welding tasks to the highest standards, ensuring all work meets industry regulations and safety protocols

· Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and specifications to execute welding projects accurately

· Operate and maintain welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG and stick welders, in a safe and efficient manner

· Collaborate with the wider team to identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of welding processes and techniques

· Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies to protect yourself and your colleagues

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Proven experience as a Welder, preferably within the Trades & Services industry

· Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials and equipment

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and specifications

· Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean, organized work environment

Relevant qualifications or certifications in welding or metal fabrication
