About the role

SYC Philippine Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Electrician to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As Chief Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and installation of all electrical systems within our facilities, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. What you'll be doing

· Manage and oversee all electrical maintenance and repair activities

· Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes

· Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement corrective actions

· Coordinate and supervise the work of electricians and electrical contractors

· Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimise system performance

· Maintain detailed records and documentation of all electrical work

· Provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team

· Collaborate with other departments to identify and address electrical needs

· Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

· Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.

· Provides input whenever necessary in generating Methodologies, Test Plans, Risk Assessment and other relative documents

What we're looking for

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a valid electrician's licence

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chief Electrician or in a similar supervisory role

Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and troubleshooting

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues

Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team of electricians

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and building codes

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on safety and efficiency
