About the role

SYC Philippine Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As a Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our mechanical equipment and machinery, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our organisation.

· Conduct regular maintenance on machineries and equipment.

· Collaborates with the Chief Mechanic to better understand and identify issues.

· Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.

· Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.

· Diagnose and repair a range of mechanical issues across the vehicle fleet

· Follow established service procedures and safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of work

· Maintain detailed records of all work completed and parts used

· Collaborate with the wider team to resolve complex technical problems

· Ensure the workshop is kept clean, organised and well-stocked with necessary tools and equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field

· Minimum 2 years of practical experience as a Mechanic, ideally in a commercial or industrial setting

· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve a range of mechanical issues

· Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

· Familiarity with industry regulations and safety best practices

· A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to continually learn and develop your skills
