Job Description
1. Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
Partner with executive leadership to shape organizational culture, structure, and workforce planning.
Forecast talent needs and develop long-term human resource plans.
2. Talent Acquisition & Management
Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
Implement employer branding and workforce planning initiatives.
Ensure effective succession planning and internal talent mobility.
3. Performance Management
Design and implement performance appraisal systems.
Drive performance improvement initiatives and productivity strategies.
Align individual and team objectives with organizational goals.
4. Training & Development
Identify training needs and oversee employee development programs.
Promote leadership development and career growth initiatives.
Evaluate training effectiveness and ROI.
5. Compensation & Benefits
Develop competitive compensation and benefits structures.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and compensation regulations.
Lead job evaluation and salary benchmarking processes.
6. Employee Relations & Engagement
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Resolve employee conflicts and handle disciplinary actions.
Monitor employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
7. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Manage audits, reporting, and employment documentation.
Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
8. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Develop programs that support an equitable workplace.
Monitor progress and report on DEI metrics.
9. HR Technology & Systems
Oversee implementation and maintenance of HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems).
Use data and analytics for informed decision-making and HR reporting.
Automate and streamline HR processes.
10. Budgeting & Resource Management
Prepare and manage the HR department budget.
Allocate resources effectively to support HR initiatives.
Monitor HR KPIs and operational efficiency.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (required).
Master’s degree (preferred) in:
Human Resources Management
Organizational Development
Business Administration (MBA)
Professional Certifications (preferred or sometimes required)
SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional)
SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources – HRCI)
CHRL/CHRP (for Canada: Certified Human Resources Leader/Professional)
CIPD Level 7 (UK: Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development)
Experience Requirements
8–15+ years of progressive HR experience.
3–7+ years in a senior HR leadership role (e.g., HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or equivalent).
Proven experience leading:
Organizational change
Talent management and acquisition
Performance systems
Compliance and employee relations
Experience working in multi-location or global organizations is a plus.
