Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in promoting and selling outsourced management solutions to clients across various industries. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in B2B sales, a deep understanding of outsourcing services, and a passion for driving business growth in a competitive market.
As a Sales Manager, you will oversee a team of sales representatives, develop sales strategies, manage client relationships, and ensure the company meets its revenue goals. The role requires a deep understanding of the outsourcing industry, particularly in areas such as customer support, IT, HR, finance, and operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and exceed performance metrics.
Monitor sales team performance, provide coaching, and ensure alignment with best practices for closing deals and customer relationship management.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Client Acquisition & Management:
Identify and target potential clients for outsourced management solutions, particularly in industries such as technology, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Develop and present customized proposals and solutions to potential clients, showcasing the value of outsourcing services.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients to close sales while maintaining profitability.
Ensure smooth onboarding and transition for new clients, providing ongoing support as necessary.
Market & Industry Insight:
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for growth.
Stay up-to-date with changes in outsourcing solutions and technology to position the company as a leader in the field.
Provide feedback and recommendations to the product development and marketing teams based on client needs and market trends.
Reporting & Performance Metrics:
Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and KPIs to track individual and team performance.
Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports for senior management, offering insights into sales trends, forecasts, and opportunities for improvement.
Identify key performance metrics for the team, set targets, and regularly review performance against those targets.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Support:
Work closely with the operations, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
Collaborate with the leadership team to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and market positioning.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a sales leadership role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the outsourcing or managed services industry.
Strong understanding of outsourcing services such as customer support, IT services, HR solutions, and back-office operations.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to drive results.
Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Additional certifications in sales or management are a plus.
