Project Engineer Specialist

PROJECT ENGINEER SPECIALIST for Software Automation

SETUP: Onsite, Mondays to Fridays

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
- Develop project plans and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Initiate and Monitor Change Requests and project progress.
- Work closely with project manager, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and progressing smoothly.
- Ensure that all engineering activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to safetyand quality standards.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates for management and stakeholders.
- Support the procurement process by reviewing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals
- Assist in troubleshooting engineering issues and providing solutions to technical challenges.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and other external parties to ensure project requirements are met.
- Contribute to developing relevant working procedures, templates, and standards

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, or equivalent engineering degree;
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 1-2 years in project management or a lead role.
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems & AutoCAD (2D/3D)
- Demonstrated capability in both the technical and management scope
- Ability to travel
- Demonstrated ability to interact well with peers and across all levels of the organization
- Experience in implementing automation/electrical solutions and writing software code
- Proven leadership and motivation skills
- Willing to work on flexible time.
