Job Description
Join the dynamic team at GJH SERCONS, INC. as a Pollution Control Officer. This full-time role, based in Silang Cavite, is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. As a key member of the Environmental Engineering team, you will play a crucial part in upholding the company's commitment to environmental protection and stewardship.
What you'll be doing
Developing, implementing, and monitoring pollution control programs and policies to ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations
Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential environmental risks
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices and initiatives across the organization
Providing technical expertise and guidance on environmental issues to senior management and other stakeholders
Reporting on environmental performance and metrics to internal and external stakeholders
Staying up-to-date with the latest environmental regulations and best practices in the industry
Leading and coordinating environmental training and awareness programs for employees
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
2+ years of experience in a pollution control or environmental management role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
Thorough understanding of environmental regulations, policies, and best practices
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in environmental monitoring and reporting tools and software
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
