Job Description
This is a full-time position as a Safety Officer at Sydenham Laboratories, Inc. based in Dasmariñas City, Cavite. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees and visitors on the company premises, in line with industry regulations and best practices.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential health and safety risks
- Developing, implementing and maintaining safety policies, procedures and training programs
- Investigating and documenting any incidents or accidents, and implementing corrective actions
- Providing safety-related guidance and support to all employees
- Ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation
- Collaborating with management to continuously improve the company's safety performance
- Maintaining detailed records and preparing regular safety reports
What we're looking for
- Wit a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or other related field.
- Must be BOSH certified, DOLE Certified Safety Officer 3 or Certified Safety Practitioner
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role preferably in the pharmaceutical or food manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
- Knowledgeable in writing reports and policies related to health, environmental and safety concerns, and issues.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
- Salary:
- ₱25,000.00 Monthly
