Job Description
In collaboration with the executive team, the Business Development Officer will develop and implement marketing strategies, while also providing leadership and training to subordinate Business Developers. The position requires regular travel to facilitate client transactions and conduct training sessions, ensuring optimal client engagement and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and present proposals to existing clients to enhance their business with our services.
• Create compelling presentations and proposals for clients.
• Identify and explore new market opportunities through market research.
• Analyze sales reports and devise strategies to reduce costs and boost profitability.
• Address client concerns promptly and maintain a positive growth trajectory in the market.
• Collaborate with executives to execute marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Mentor and train junior Business Developers.
• Travel as necessary to facilitate business transactions and training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Business Development Officer in an engineering consultancy.
• Strong business acumen with experience in interpreting financial data.
• Proven ability to research and identify new market opportunities.
• Excellent creativity, problem-solving abilities, and negotiation skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities.
