Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a high standard of service.
Handle inquiries related to forklift sales, rentals, service contracts, and parts support.
Provide real-time interpretation and translation (Japanese ↔ English) during meetings, site inspections, and client visits.
Translate business correspondence, reports, presentations, and proposals with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Rental, Service, Parts, Finance) to align solutions with client needs and resolve concerns efficiently.
Support sales and aftersales teams in client relationship management, including contract renewals and regular account reviews.
Assist in organizing and participating in product demonstrations, business reviews, and corporate events involving Japanese clients.
Contribute to business development by nurturing relationships with Japanese firms located in industrial parks and export processing zones.
Qualifications
Business-level fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken; JLPT N2 level or higher preferred
Prior experience in account coordination, customer service, or working with Japanese clients is a strong advantage.
Deep understanding of Japanese culture, business practices, and communication etiquette.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Professional, service-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Willingness to travel to client sites and industrial parks across the Philippines.
