Job Description
The Sales Engineer for Process Automation System/Drive Automation System Sales will develop new markets for the Philippines' Industrial Plant and Infrastructure Automation System business.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Achieve the KPI (Personal sales budget, target strategy)
Develop new business opportunities for Process Automation Systems and Drive Automation Systems for the Industrial Plant and Infrastructure to maintain excellent relationships with customers in the Philippines
Develop a deep understanding of the company’s technical products or services, and the industry and market trends.
Develop sales strategies and implement plans to achieve company growth sales targets and profit margins.
Conduct competitor’s analysis vis-à-vis FESP business in the territory.
Drafts or assists with drafting presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.
Provides expertise and support to the sales team to communicate products, services, and client needs.
Actively involved in commercial and technical discussions with customers with the support of FESP Partners. Gather customers’ requirements and coordinate with the factory regarding customer needs. Solution proposals to prospects and maximize sales opportunities.
Stay updated on competitors’ offerings and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations for staying competitive.
Prepares Weekly and Monthly sales reports for Management review.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Other tasks are assigned by the President and the Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
Possess strong technical knowledge of DCS, SCADA, PLC system, MV-Drive, MV-Inverter, LV-Drive, LV-Inverter, and other industrial automation products, Instruments, and systems.
Proven sales track record in Industrial Plant Sales business environment.
Candidates with Multi-National Companies' experience is an advantage.
Candidates with site work experience (e.g., Design of DCS or PLC software, Electrical work, testing, commissioning, project management, etc.) are preferred.
Have good contact & network of prospective customers/distributors/consultants/contractors in the Philippines.
Quick response and reporting.
Keep abreast of the industrial market trends.
Excellent presentation & negotiation skills.
Highly motivated, dynamic, self-driven, and a team player.
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Resourceful with the ability to work with people of multi-cultural and cross-function teams.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
Someone from Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens is preferrable.

This is a new business and the person will be the first to join the team. He/she may manage the team when expanding its team. Report to the Japanese president (Mr. Suzuki directly).
The department is closely tied to the Components team and communicates and collaborates with the Components team often.
Target age: 28-38 years old
