Inventory Accountant

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in BS Accountancy or other related course is required.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in Inventory Management.
- Preferably has at last 1 year of experience in General Accounting.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting laws and principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with any accounting software is an advantage.
- Willing to work from Monday to Saturday in Quezon City.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Track and update inventory levels in the system regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and resolve variances between physical stock and system records.
- Perform periodic physical counts and reconcile with accounting records to verify inventory accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze inventory valuation, aging, and turnover reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of inventory-related journal entries and ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts.
- Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and finance teams to ensure inventory data is consistent and up-to-date.
- Provide inventory data to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Adhere to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies related to inventory management.
- Provide necessary documentation and explanations during audits concerning inventory.
- Perform other inventory and accounting-related tasks assigned by the Chief Accountant.
