Finance Supervisor

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring accurate tax compliance, financial reporting, and process efficiency, with a strong focus on taxation. This role handles tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirements while supporting budgeting, cash flow management, and financial controls. Also, the Finance Supervisor assists in implementing tax-efficient strategies and guiding the finance team on compliance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Tax Compliance & Planning
Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, and other statutory obligations.
Monitor tax law changes and ensure full compliance with regulations.
Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
Manage documentation for tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
Assist in preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness for financial and tax reports.
Monitor financial transactions to maintain accurate and transparent records.
3. Budgeting & Financial Planning
Support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Conduct variance analysis to track budget performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for operations and tax payments.
Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and disbursements.
Support banking transactions and reconciliation of accounts.
5. Internal Controls & Process Improvement
Implement and maintain internal financial controls to minimize risks and ensure accuracy.
Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, tax laws, and financial regulations.
6. Team Support & Coordination
Provide guidance and training to the finance team on tax and financial compliance.
Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other departments.
Assist the Finance Manager in special projects and financial analysis.
