Job Description
This role is fundamental in providing assistance to accurate financial reporting through journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing; ensuring proper expense allocation and timely tax filings; and supporting inventory reports to the Chief Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare standard journal entries and accruals to align actual financial statements with budget as well as ensure the completeness that all expenses are properly allocated, recorded, and authorized.
2. Ensure the completion of the month end closing procedures.
3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all accounting reports.
4. Files all relevant tax documents such as VAT, EWT, FBT, etc. on a complete, timely, and accurate basis.
5. Closely monitor inventory database and update inventory records.
6. Perform inventory reports when necessary and provides assistance in year-end inventory.
7. Accomplish all other duties that are assigned by the Chief Accountant.
Job Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in BS Accountancy.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Accounting or finance is preferred.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting laws and principles.
- Basic knowledge in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel application.
- Ability to use any accounting software is a plus.
- Amenable to render duty from Monday to Saturday in Quezon City.
