Bartender

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
2. Maintain a thorough knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
3. Provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
4. Greet customers warmly and engage in friendly conversation.
5. Take and process drink and food orders efficiently.
6. Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
7. Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked.
8. Ensure all glassware, tools, and equipment are clean and in good working condition.
9. Follow health and safety regulations, including proper alcohol handling and hygiene standards.
10. Handle cash, process payments, and operate the POS system accurately.
11. Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
12. Assist in ordering and receiving bar supplies.
13. Work closely with barbacks, waitstaff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
14. Adhere to company policies, local alcohol laws, and responsible serving guidelines.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
1. Previous bartending experience preferred.
2. Knowledge of drink-mixing techniques and cocktail recipes.
3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
5. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
6. Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications.
