Project Duration: 6-month contract (extendible)
Job Summary:
Design and maintain a scalable Looker Semantic Layer to drive data-driven decision-making, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver BI solutions within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
LookML Development:
Build and optimize LookML models, explores, and dashboards for performance and scalability.
Implement complex data transformations and ensure data integrity across Looker assets.
Dashboard & Visualization:
Create interactive dashboards with actionable insights using Looker’s visualization tools.
Refine usability based on user feedback and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
3+ years of hands-on Looker experience (LookML, dashboard design, data modeling).
Technical Skills:
Expertise in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Strong BI/data warehousing knowledge (star/snowflake schemas, 1-3NF models).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred).
Exposure to Power BI/Tableau (a plus).
Soft Skills:
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.
Self-motivated with strong time management for remote work.
