Job Description
WORK LOCATION: Fully REMOTE | But, must be willing to drop by company's Makati Office for Onboarding and other HR activities
WORK SCHEDULE: Dayshift | Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Willing to work under an initial 6-MONTH contract, with the possibility of EXTENSION
SALARY: ₱60,000 - 70,000 Gross Professional Fee per Month | Depending on Skills / Experiences
OBJECTIVE:
- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a robust Looker Semantic Layer to support business intelligence and analytics needs
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient data models within specified timelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or Information Technology
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Looker, including LookML development, dashboard creation, and data visualization
- Fundamental knowledge of Agile Methodology, SDLC, or other project management methodologies
- Experience in project scoping, planning, and management
- Proficiency in LookML for building and maintaining models, explores, and dashboards
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and experience in creating user-friendly, interactive dashboards
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL
- Solid understanding of BI data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling (e.g., star schemas, snowflake schemas, and 1-3NF data models)
- Experience in performance tuning and optimizing Looker assets
- Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or other cloud environments
- Exposure to other BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
